| 摘要： | The performance based maintenance contracting (PBMC) have been practiced by several countries in the world for their range of benefits. In India, it has been piloted in the states of Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh for the first time on rural roads -thanks to Pradhan Mantri Gram SadakYojna (PMGSY). This paper brings out the experience of the Pilot PBMC project in Uttarakhand which was done tried out for one year in 2015-16 covering various aspects of planning and execution. The paper also makes a cost comparison of PBMC pilot with other maintenance contracts which endorse the financial feasibility of PBMC and encourage the road agencies to take it up on wider scale and for longer duration for further detailed studies. |
