摘要: |
Headed studs are important components in Arctic steel-concrete composite constructions. The present knowledge of headed studs has been limited to their structural behaviors at ambient and high temperatures. This paper extends the studies to the shear behavior of headed studs under the Arctic low temperatures. Twenty-two push-out tests were carried out to investigate the influences of various low temperature levels, the stud diameter, the stud height-to-diameter ratio, and the strength of the concrete on the shear behavior of headed studs at low temperatures. The failure mode, the shear-slip behavior, and the influences of various parameters on the shear behaviors of headed studs at low temperatures are presented and discussed. On the basis of the push-out test results, regression models were proposed for the shear-slip behavior and ultimate shear strength of headed studs at low temperatures. The prediction accuracies were checked by the test results and compared with the modified design equations in different codes. |
