摘要: The objectives of the research are: (1) to develop, validate, and demonstrate a general probabilistic damage tolerance methodology that can model manufacturing defects and impact damages, considering environmental effects; (2) to provide a predictive modeling capability to study potential risk issues, rank importance of uncertainties, and; (3) to develop a methodology for reliability/risk-based design and inspection/maintenance planning.
