Pavement Shear Strain Response To Dual and Wide-Base Tires
项目名称:
Pavement Shear Strain Response To Dual and Wide-Base Tires
摘要:
Analyze data from instrumented pavement sections loaded by a truck equipped with both dual- and wide-base tires in hot weather conditions. The data was collected from the Specific Pavement Study (SPS)-8 sections at the Ohio Test Road. Data would be used to show relative shear strains induced near the pavement surface to validate existing models for use in next-generation Mechanistic-Empirical pavement design. This could lead to more reliable performance prediction, especially regarding longitudinal cracking.
