| 摘要： | The vandalisation and destruction of public properties particularly public transport buses has become the normal practice in today's every agitation, protest and strike etc. The success of agitation, protest and strike is calculated in terms of inconvenience caused to common people and damages caused to the public properties. The worst condition is that the governments are not taking these issues very seriously. If any exercise, in true sense, is being done, that is by Indian judiciary which has, from time to time, issued directions/ guidelines to be observed in such cases. Taking into account the above facts, the present paper discusses the current scenario of agitations, bandhs, strikes and protests and its consequences resulting in loss to the public properties particularly public transport buses. Further, it proposes some sensible suggestions also to curb this menace. |
