摘要：	The menace of using black films on the windscreens (front and rear) and windows of the motor vehicles has attracted the attention of the whole community as it has appeared as a great threat to the individuals as well as the society. By using the black films, the offenders including terrorists succeed in escaping from the clutches of the legal and judicial system. Though, the law on this particular issue is very specific and clear but non-observation and non-compliance of the law has resulted in its failure. In this paper, attempts have been made to discuss and analyse the existing legal provisions relating to prohibition of black films on windscreen and windows of motor vehicles in addition to the role played by the Indian Judiciary in this respect. Further, it also mentions some sensible suggestions for effective implementation of laws.
