Under this effort, the Center for Advanced Transportation Initiatives will advance four objectives: (1) Further expand and enhance the university's transportation-related research and educational portfolio; (2) Advance regional awareness of transportation issues and opportunities; (3) Address local and regional transportation challenges that are in line with the federal government's priorities; and (4) Address high-risk/high reward type projects of interest to the Federal Transit Administration (FTA). |
