| 摘要： | The goal of this literature review on asphalt modifiers was to better understand the effects of modifiers on the performance of in-service pavements. The scope of the review was to collect and summarize information in the technical literature relating modified asphalt properties to field pavement performance; to report the original findings and conclusions of the authors; and to note any trends or consensus. The resources reviewed included: published literature, state highway agency research reports, inquiries to associations and manufacturers, and a National Technical Information Service on-line computerized database search. Based on this review, it may be concluded that (a) asphalt modifiers do influence binder and mixture properties and, hence, performance and (b) the ability to accurately interpret the association between asphalt modifiers and pavement performance has not yet been established through field studies. |
