摘要: Because accurate data are key to the success of the Strategic Highway Research Program's (SHRP) Long Tem Pavement Performance (LTPP) study, a number of measures have been implemented to ensure quality of the pavement deflection data. This includes, among others, quality assurance software. The latter includes a program called FWDCHECK which has been developed to analyze deflection data. In the case of asphaltic concrete pavements, this strucutral capacity analysis follows the AASHTO direct strucutral number procedure. Since asphaltic concrete materials are temperature dependent in nature, measured deflections and correct measured maximum deflections to a standard temperature is required so that the comparison of predicted versus expected structural capacities is a valid one. This report documents the temperature correction procedure developed for and used in the FWDCHECK program.
