| 摘要： | This article describes a project to furnish and install a complete and functional SMIS (Surveillance and motorist Information System) along a segment of Interstate 4 through Orlando, Florida from 33rd Street on the west to the Wymore overpass on the east. Changeable message signs will be used to advise motorists of traffic conditions along the monitored section of roadway. Additional surveillance of the system is provided by closed circuit television cameras which will monitor and verify freeway traffic incidents. Provides details on cable communication hook-up, video technology employed for signs, construction schedule and costs. |
