| 摘要： | This Technical Assistance Brief, Smart Fare Payment Systems for Public Transit, is designed to advance transit by improving information dissemination regarding the knowledge and use of advanced electronic systems in transit. This issue provides an overview of electronic fare payment systems. Early automation efforts, read-only passes and fare cards, automated fare card sales, smart fare cards, contact cards, radio frequency coupled proximity cards, as well as a perspective of the future are discussed. |
