| 摘要： | Maritimesecurityisanimportantissueintheshippingindustry.Theinternationalmaritimeorganization(IMO)developedaCodeofInternationalShipandPortFacilitySecurity(ISPSCode)toenhancemaritimesecurityagainstpiracy,terrorism,andanyotherillegalactions.QuestionnairesareusedtoelicitAsianseafarers'perceptionsofmaritimesecurityinthecontainershippingcontext.Exploratoryfactoranalysisandconfirmatoryfactoranalysistechniquesareappliedtoanalyzethedataobtainedtherefrominordertounderstandtheeffectofmaritimesecurityimplementationonboardship.Fourprimarydimensionsofmaritimesecurityimplementationwereidentified,namely:securityknowledgeandcapability,securitymanpower,securitytraining,andsecurityequipment.ResultsrevealedthatrespondentsfromPhilippineshadhighperceptionsonsecurityknowledgeandcapability,securitymanpower,andsecurityequipmentdimensions,whereasrespondentsfromIndiaandMyanmarhadhighperceptionsonsecuritytrainingdimension.Theoreticalandpracticalimplicationsfromtheresearchfindingsinmaritimesecuritymanagementarediscussed. |
