| 摘要： | This document is an evaluation plan for an ITS field operational test (FOT) which demonstrated the use of electronic container seals on containers. The seals were combined with automatic vehicle identification (AVI) transponders attached to the truck, in order to track movements and monitor the security of the containerized freight. This technology is designed to provide the information necessary for automating the clearance and credentialing of commercial vehicles through ports and terminals, across international borders, and through weight stations. The document first presents a description of the project. This is then followed by the evaluation plan and a management plan. |
