| 摘要： | The purpose of this report is to inform transportation managers and decision-makers of the value of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) integration. The report is intended for operations and planning departments of transportation-related agencies, include: state and local transportation and public works departments, metropolitan planning organizations, transit properties, and emergency response agencies. The U.S. Department of Transportation engaged in an effort to track ITS deployment and integration in 78 of the Nation's metropolitan areas. This report examines four of those areas in detail: Atlanta, Georgia; Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota; Seattle, Washington; and Washington, DC. Representatives from various agencies in each of the selected regions were interviewed about their respective region's ITS integration efforts. |
