| 摘要： | An interactive approach for constructing or improving less-than-truckload (LTL) distribution networks is introduced. The primary consideration for the interactive design process is that of determining breakbulk locations to minimize total transportation and handling costs, based on freight density and transshipment volume analysis. An interactive software decision analysis tool, called BBNET, is introduced as a means of achieving near optimal design. A detailed user's manual is provided to enhance technology transfer. |
