| 摘要： | This paper presents an overview of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) programs planned for Latvia, with focus on ITS-oriented multimodal systems. It sets up a systems approach for the design of an information infrastructure model for the multimodal transportation system. This is followed by an identification of the primary activities anticipated in the ITS program. The national research and development program definition of necessary research tasks are listed. These include standards, data collection, databases, data analysis and maintaining information systems. |
