| 摘要： | The Crescent Project element of the HELP Program is a binational multijurisdictional cooperative research and demonstration initiative involving the public and private sectors in an application of advanced technologies for the creation of a integrated heavy vehicle management system. This initiative is a leading example of the commercial vehicle operations (CVO) aspect of the Intelligent Vehicle Highway Systems (IVHS) concept. Some of the advanced technologies demonstrated in this project include : automatic vehicle identification (AVI); weigh in motion (WIM); automatic vehicle classification (AVC); and data communication networks and systems integration. This document is one of several which comprise the evaluation of the Crescent Project. |
