| 摘要： | The objective of the paper was to identify practical incident response improvements for a specific location on Whidbey Island in the state of Washington. Data were collected to examine both characteristics of the highway and collisions occurring on it. Telephone interviews were conducted to learn about existing incident response on the island. Literature was reviewed to learn about the character and concerns of providing incident response in a rural setting. Potential improvement measures were identified and presented in a short and long-range implementation format. |
