摘要: |
This symposium presentation focuses on the experience in Minnesota with the benefits of Integrated Transportation Management Systems (ITMS) from a core infrastructure perspective. The Federal Highway Administration has identified seven basic elements of the Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) core infrastructure: freeway surveillance and management, arterial signal control, incident management, vehicle location for transit, toll roads, electronic payments, and traveler information systems. The Minnesota experience with each of these different elements, the current status of activities, and the benefits that have been realized to date are reviewed. |
