| 摘要： | This article provides a behind-the-scenes account of the rapid decisions made after the Interstate-40 Bridge was struck by 2 barges and severely damaged on Sunday, May 26th, 2002. The close partnering between the U.S. Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) expedited the decisionmaking process and made reconstruction of this major east-west artery possible in a very short time. |
