| 摘要： | The metrication of roadside hardware is detailed in the revised edition of the "Guide to Standardized Highway Barrier Rail Hardware." This article highlights the most important recommendations regarding specifications, guardrails, bridge railings, and concrete median barriers. The most useful feature of the new guide is the exclusive use of the International System of Units (SI)--a modernized metric system, which will be an invaluable resource to states in the process of converting their roadside hardware standards to SI prior to the September 30, 1996, deadline. |
