| 摘要： | This article reports on findings by the Texas Transportation Institute about safety devices in short-term work zones on rural roads. Of the nine studied, two measures showed most promise. One is a speed display trailer, which can warn drivers when they are going too fast and, with a 130-decibel horn, warn crews, too. The other is reflective gear made out of fluorescent yellow-green material rather than traditional orange. |
