| 摘要： | Intelligent technology can reduce pavement wear and improve the safety of heavy trucks by using detectors linked to signal controllers to cut down on the number of times traffic signals require trucks to stop at signalized intersections in isolated locales. The fewer times a heavy truck is forced to come to a stop for a red light, the less damage to the pavement from stopping and accelerating and the fewer chances of a jackknife or other deceleration-related accident. |
