| 摘要： | This Circular provides guidance on GMDSS equipment requirements for all GMDSS applicable vessels by the final implementation date of February 1, 1999, and is applicable to both U.S. and non-U.S. flagged vessels. The information in this Circular reflects the final phase-in for GMDSS, and summarizes EPIRB requirements that are now published in Coast Guard and FCC regulations. Only EPIRB requirements are summarized for non-GMDSS applicable vessels; communication requirements not covered by GMDSS are not explained in this Circular. |
