| 摘要： | The International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers, as amended (STCW 95) requires both initial and ongoing safety training for most mariners. The requirements for basic safety training (BST) have been a source of widespread comment and confusion to many. This article will attempt to explain the following four BST basic training elements: personal survival techniques; fire prevention and fire fighting; elementary first aid; and, personal safety and social responsibilities. |
