摘要: THE AIM OF THIS PROJECT IS TO CARRY OUT TESTS TO CLARIFY STRESS DISTRIBUTION. THIS IS NECESSARY AS ALL AVAILABLE RECOMMENDATIONS FOR DESIGN AND REINFORCEMENT HAVE BEEN DERIVED THEORETICALLY. IN NEARLY EVERY CASE THE PROBLEM IS TREATED IN AN IDEALIZED FASHION AS THE EFFECT OF A SINGLE LOAD ON THE INSIDE OF A DISC. SOLUTIONS OBTAINED IN THIS WAY MEAN THAT INCREASING COMPRESSIVE AND TENSILE STRESSES OCCUR IN THE AREA WHERE THE FORCE IS INTRODUCED. IT IS THEREFORE RECOMMENDED THAT SLACK REINFORCEMENT IS USED, WHICH COVERS THE SUM OF ALL TENSILE STRESSES. DISTRIBUTIONS OF TENSILE STRESSES ARE USUALLY NOT GIVEN IN DETAIL. IF HOWEVER STRESSES RESULTING FROM DEFLECTION OR OTHER PRESTRESSED MEMBERS OCCUR IN THE ANCHORAGE ZONE, THESE DATA ARE INSUFFICIENT, SINCE THE TENSILE STRESSES WHICH REMAIN AFTER SUPERPOSITION CANNOT BE DETERMINED.
