| 摘要： | There are numerous types of geosynthetics, including geotextiles, geo-membranes, geogrids, geosynthetic clay liners, drainage materials, geo-cells and erosion control products. Each has its own applications. Geotextiles are used for separation, reinforcement, filtration, drainage and protection. Geomembranes are utilized for containment, lining and capping. Geogrids are exploited for reinforcement, asphalt overlay, waterproofing, separation and stabilization. Geosynthetic clay liners are applied for surface impoundment, secondary containment and landfill lining. Drainage materials are wielded for drainage. Geocells are employed for improving the structural and functional behavior of soils and aggregate infill materials. Erosion control products handle erosion protection. With so many applications in a wide variety of materials, it's a wonder that these products can fit into a single category called geosynthetics. They all qualify, though, because they all are in the earth (geo) and are human-made (synthetics). And, conveniently, all these applications are represented here in this annual Geosynthetics Specifier's Guide. |
