| 摘要： | A geosynthetic has been defined as a planar product manufactured from polymeric material used with soil, rock, earth, or other geotechnical engineering related as an integral part of a man-made project, structure, or system. The paper looks at the ways geosynthetics have been and continue to be used in all facets of the transportation industry, with the principal functions performed identified as filtration, drainage, separation, reinforcement, provision of a fluid barrier, and environmental protection. State of the art and future directions are also briefly discussed. |
