| 摘要： | The paper examines the goals of gathering freight transportation data as: 1) identification and publicizing sources of data on commodity movement, international trade, freight transportation, and the economics and organization of entities engaged in freight transportation; 2) advising data collection agencies on cost-effective ways to fulfill essential data needs; and 3) assisting analysts and decision makers in the effective use of freight transportation data. The paper also identifies both types of data as well as sources of data available. |
