YOU'LL FIND as you read this issue there is an overarching theme to much of the insight provided by our authors - the need to collaborate. New and existing partnerships -whether public, private or otherwise - are set to play arguably the most significant role in the recovery of the public transport and urban mobility space from the COVID-19 pandemic this year. As operators, authorities and agencies grapple with the fluid circumstances the pandemic throws at them, there's rarely been a better time to form new partnerships and be more agile, reflexive and proactive. If the pandemic has evidenced anything, it's that the public transport sector is capable of being agile and flexible in the wake of new challenges, with major projects being pushed much further up the timeline. |
