The flooded cell (or "wet" cell) lead acid battery has been in use for almost as long as we've had automobiles. But with the demands of added electrical systems and the introduction of "Start/Stop" functionality, the battery we've relied on for so many years has given way to new designs - the AGM (Absorbed Glass Mat) and the EFB (Enhanced Flooded Battery). |
