摘要: ArrivaClick demand-responsive minibuses have returned to Kent, 18 months after the pioneering Sittingbourne operation closed. As with the newer operations in Leicester and Watford, the service is part-funded by a third party, in this case by housing developers at Ebbsfleet Garden City, between Gravesend and Dartford. The area was already served by subsidised routes run by Arriva Southern Counties. First introduced in November 2018, there were hourly off-peak journeys to Ebbsfleet International railway station and Bluewater shopping centre, but a re-routeing a year later reduced the service to 65min intervals. Peak hour links to the station ran every 20 to 25min, as frequently as one bus, usually a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, could manage.
