| 摘要： | The Tampa-Hillsborough County Expressway Authority (THCEA) is undertaking a demonstration project to develop and test Video Toll Collection (VTC) as part of the automated tolling program for 10 miles of new reversible express lanes in the median of the Lee Roy Selmon Crosstown Expressway in Tampa, Florida. The Authority's VTC system, in combination with Florida's Electronic Toll Collection (ETC) system known as SunPass, will form the basis for the cashless toll collection on the reversible lanes using technology similar to that employed on Toronto's Highway 407 and Melbourne's City Link toll highways. This effort will be the first Open Road Tolling (ORT) project in the United States to implement Video Toll Collection with Video Toll Accounts using photo-based automated toll collection. |
