摘要：	Investigations in Europe show, that a large interest in parking services exists. However parking services can successfully be introduced only if the following factors are considered: (1) Coordination with the traffic management strategies of the municipalities; (2) The municipalities and the parking garage operators are willing to supply data with high quality and up to date; (3) Using standards for communication, applications and content; (4) Customer orientation is the center of attention; and (5) Not too high expectations of services and content providers to the revenue, which can be obtained. A more central part of today's traffic is parking and especially in the congested urban areas this is often the reason for additional traffic. So for example investigations in Munich result in the fact that the search for free parking space has substantial portion (up to a third) of the overall traffic. Finding solutions to minimize this and bringing more services and convenience to the customer is our challenge.
