| 摘要： | In Japan, different communication specifications were often used in different road agencies or in different road management systems. There were various proprietary communication protocols, and uncommon definitions of messages used to exchange data. It was a barrier to the ITS development for Japanese road agencies. The goal of Road Communication Standards (RCS) is to enhance interconnectivity and interoperability by standardizing data dictionary, message set, and protocol. The RCS facilitate information exchange between different road agencies or different management systems. This paper describes the overview and recent activities about RCS. |
