The traffic control system operated by Tokyo's Metropolitan Expressway Public Corporation supports efficient operation of the expressway network serving Tokyo and its adjacent prefectures by ensuring smooth traffic management, securing a reasonable traffic flow and promoting road-user safety and comfort. The traffic control system provides 24 hour non-stop operation and supplies real-time information to achieve its role of serving society.
