| 摘要： | Through a joint development with NTT DoCoMo, car navigation system has been provided with three types of protocols . (i)TCP/IP protocol based on the wireless line exchange utilizing the wireless cellular phone network,(ii)”DoPa”(TCP/IP protocol) based on wireless packetexchanging, (iii)the high-efficiency protocol for the “i mode” service based on wireless packet-exchanging. systems.Also, By applying the browser and mail functions along with the contents from the center, we have studied and developed the communication -type car navigation system which aims at a liaison between the car navigation system and the contents by using information specific to car navigation (location information of own vehicle, destination information, and vehicle information) through utilization of the existing navigation, the browser function, and the mail function. This paper describes the car navigation system with the focus on the features of each protocol (line-exchanging, “DoPa”, and high-efficiency protocol). It also pays a special attention to the functions we developed and the high-efficiency protocol. (At February 22,1999) |
