| 摘要： | To get to the destination in unfamiliar area, the use of Paper Map is a general approach for many drivers. From time to time, the drivers try to follow Paper Map while vehicle is in motion, and as a result, they may lose their way and stop the vehicle to check the Paper Map. This can cause the distraction of natural traffic flow. In this paper, driver’s visual behavior and the subjective evaluation are analyzed among three types of navigation systems, those are Paper Map, Map Display Navigation and Voice Guidance Navigation. And also the comparison of effectiveness of voice guidance function is carried out among Map Display Navigation and Turn-by-Turn Navigation, which indicates the route by an arrow sign as the substitute of a map display. The analysis has revealed that the voice guidance function decreases the duration of the glance time, and the use of navigation systems provides safety and ease off the psychological stress of the driver. |
