| 摘要： | This paper describes recent advances in the use of the OPERA aid-to-decision tool for real-time driver information and guidance messages within the Central Belt of Scotland. OPERA is able to provide the operator with the reasoning behind any proposed strategy; simulate alternative strategies proposed by the operator; and provide a quantitative evaluation of the traffic conditions during the period of any incident managed by the system. OPERA has already been shown to reduce travel time, queuing time, fuel consumption and emission levels by making strategic decisions on the re-routing of traffic. The adverse impact of incidents can be reduced by up to 50% through the use of the system. |
