| 摘要： | As of May 1999 ACN equipped vehicles have been involved in 44 crash-related events. Of these, thirty-two (32) were minor crashes below the threshold set for the system to trigger an automated call for assistance. Twelve (12) events met or exceeded the ACN crash definition and an automated crash message was assembled and successfully transmitted to the cellular 9-1-1 PSAP operated by the Erie County Sheriff. Table 1 summarizes information for some of the crash events.In addition to the events associated with ACN-equipped vehicles, as of May 1999, there have been fifty-seven (57) incidents involving vehicles equipped with the crash event timer. Table 2 summarizes information for some of these incidents. |
