摘要: |
Traffic accidents on straight road sections in good weather and visibility have always been associated with the inexplicable, since driving in a straight line in principle is the most basic and easiest form of driving. In the mid-nineties the Norwegian Public Roads Administration initiated several studies to find measures against head-on and single accidents on straight road sections. Particularly many accidents took place on the main roads in the counties surrounding Oslo in summer time. As a result it was decided to initiate a study of head-on and single accidents on straight roads with 80 and 90km/h speed limit, with fatal or severe injury as outcome.
