| 摘要： | In the fall of 1997, the ITS Professional Capacity Building Program initiated the development of six 'White Papers' to briefly describe the current status of, and plans for future education and training activities of six organizations engaged in various aspects of the planning and deployment of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). Those organizations are: The Intelligent Transportation Society of America (ITSA), The American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO), The American Public Transit Association (APTA), The National Transit Institute (NT1 at Rutgers University), The Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE), University ITS Research Centers of Excellence (the University of Michigan, The Texas Transportation Institute at Texas A&M University and Virginia Polytechnic institute) and the ITS Institute at the University of Minnesota. This document presents a synthesis of those six papers, as well as complete copies of each. |
