| 摘要： | This report examines the status of motor vehicle traffic crashes as a leading or major cause of death in the United States in 1997. It is based on a study, by age and sex, of the rank-ordering of 64 causes of death which have been adopted by the National Center for Statistics and Analysis (NCSA) of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) to study the leading causes of death in the U.S. Data on the leading causes of death from the National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) for calendar year 1997, the latest year for which these data are available, were used for this report. |
