摘要：	New technologies such as Cold Mix Technology are now being adapted to the present road network and are having a capability of improvement in roads. To verify the performance of this technology various sections of rural road in Madhya Pradesh under PMGSY have been selected. For this functional and structural evaluation of these roads are to be done. Here in this paper, various literature related to this have been presented. Methodology for performance evaluation for functional and structural failure is also being suggested. In this review paper the steps carried out for the study of Visual Distress Assessment as regards to IRC:82-2015 guidelines, Benkelman beam study to be carried out using IRC:81-1997 and Roughness study to be carried out using MERLIN as per IRC:81-1997 are suggested for further study.
