摘要：	At the start of 2021, the total general cargo fleet (pure car carriers, ro-ro cargo ships, multi-purpose vessels, small coastal general cargo vessels, special cargo vessels and reefer vessels, ships of 300 gt and over) consisted of 17,393 ships with a combined 119.6 million dwt (+0.9% year on year). While general cargo vessels only represent 6 % of the total merchant fleet's deadweight tonnage, they do in fact make up one third of the entire merchant fleet itself.
