摘要：	Q: As we roll through recovery, what trends are changing the way managers need to approach their logistics strategies in 2021? A: It's amazing how resilient supply chain operations have been throughout this pandemic. We need to step back and give thanks to our logistics & transportation personnel for keeping it moving. The pressure to get PPE, medical supplies, food, and more that people require was thrust at them and capacity was abruptly shifted to make it all happen. At the same time ecommerce growth catapulted about 5 years within a few months. Going forward, logistics managers will continue to face the pressure in adapting extremely fast.Q: What would you say are the biggest challenges currently facing logistics managers due to this environment? A: These are tough times to run a warehouse with plenty of challenges to go around. Fast delivery is now the expectation for consumers and businesses. Logistic managers are challenged to increase throughput, shorten order cycle times, all while maintaining order accuracy. Customers are fickle - if they can't get what they want now, they will go somewhere else. If the wrong item is shipped to them, that customer could be lost for good. And on top of all of this - they need to maximize productivity due to labor shortages.
