| 摘要： | This report is a result of the efforts undertaken for Task 6 of the Orange County Intelligent Vehicle-Highway Systems (IVHS) Study, the development of an Action Plan for implementation of the Orange County IVHS Master Plan. .The Master Plan, as presented in Task 4 of this study, calls for the development of an estimated $601 million countywide program. Based upon technology and construction constraints, JHK & Associates estimates a significant portion of the County program is achievable within a ten year time period.However, a review of both funding availability and the logistics of coordinating sizable, multijurisdictional projects, indicates that ten years is an improbable time frame for implementation of the entire program. The Action Plan for Deployment of IVHS in Orange County reviews funding opportunities, together with countywide priorities in terms of technological needs, to develop an implementation strategy for IVHS within the County. |
