| 摘要： | Costain finished 2020 as the UK's top roads contractor as a succession of major projects and road maintenance work boosted the group's highways order book above £1bn.During last year, Costain took on work such as the £392.3m M62 smart motorway project in West Yorkshire and the £290m A30 Chiverton to Carland Cross scheme in Cornwall. A number of national term maintenance deals were either let or signed off in the final quarter of last year. Amey, which is-at the time of writing - still owned by Spanish group Ferrovial, won a £180m deal for Area 12, while Kier signed and mobilised for a £160m Area 4 deal covering the South East that starts this year. |
