FM Conway has bagged a £12m job to provide the infrastructure, including an access road, signage and utilities, for a proposed Innovation Park near Rochester Airport in Kent for Medway Council. The work, which is needed to facilitate the development of the first section of the northern part of the park and also the southern site, will start this month (May) and take around 12 months to complete. 2. Alun Griffiths has landed a £38m design and build contract for the Banwell Bypass near Weston Super Mare for North Somerset Council. The project, which includes improvements to junction 21 of the M5 and flood mitigation works, will unlock sites allocated for housing development over the next 15 years and is being funded by the Government's Housing Infrastructure Fund Design work has begun and the bypass is expected to open in 2024. |
