| 摘要： | Norfolk CC was extremely thorough when it came to examining what surface treatments would be best applied to its network. The council decided a surface rejuvenator was the best option and worked with Roadtechs on a series of trials of its product Reclamite - thought to be the only penetrative bitumen rejuvenator in the UK. Reclamite is a formulated emulsion derived from the petrochemical industry and it restores the chemical elements that are lost in the asphalt through ageing and oxidation. It is applied to the network using a computer-controlled tanker that can spread from 2.4m up to 4.8m with everything pre-calibrated, helping keep roadworkers away from the live carriageway. |
